Patricia Podesta is an Adjunct Professor in the Graduate Art program at ArtCenter, where she has taught for over 20 years. Her academic work is deeply integrated with her professional practice at the intersection of visual art and film production design.
Her research and creative interests span Performance Art, Video Art, Exhibition Design, and Theories of Construction. She is known for pioneering early performance videos exhibited across the U.S. and Europe, and for her influential role as a Production Designer in major film and television projects including Memento, Love and Other Drugs, Bobby, American Gods, Hannibal, and Homeland.
Notably, she designed the acclaimed Stanley Kubrick exhibition at LACMA (2012–2013), which showcased her ability to translate cinematic vision into immersive spatial experiences.
