Patricia Mockler

Patricia Mockler serves as an Assistant Professor, Teaching Stream in the Department of Political Science at the University of Toronto's Faculty of Arts & Science. She earned her PhD in political studies from Queen's University in 2022 and previously held a postdoctoral fellowship at Western University.

Her work bridges theoretical frameworks with empirical analysis of democratic innovations.

Recent publications include a foundational chapter on deliberative mini-publics design and articles in Sustainability, Comparative European Politics, and Election Law journals, reflecting trends in democratic theory, participation methodology, and intersectional policy analysis.
