Patricia Hughes is a Senior Lecturer in Mental Health Nursing at the Department of Nursing and Midwifery, Sheffield Hallam University. She has clinical experience since 2000, working in adult inpatient acute wards, community substance misuse services, and older adult services. Her academic career began in 2014, and she currently pursues a Doctorate in Education investigating quieter learners' experiences in nurse education.
