Dr. Patricia Henton serves as an Associate Professor at Huntington University since 2017, leveraging over 25 years of clinical occupational therapy experience across acute care, physical medicine, hand therapy, pediatrics, and school-based practice in the United States and Canada.
Her educational foundation includes:
- Entry-level Occupational Therapy degree from University of Western Ontario, London, Canada
- Post-professional Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) with Pediatric Science emphasis from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions, Provo, Utah
Her research pioneers relationship-based feeding methodologies, family-centered practice, and autism interventions through evidence-based workshops presented at national conferences including AOTA, COTA, and state associations. She actively develops pediatric feeding protocols and telehealth adaptations for early intervention.
