Patricia Alexander is a Senior Lecturer in Social Work at the School of Social Sciences and Professions, London Metropolitan University. She is a registered social worker with Social Work England (SWE) and holds a Level 2 Award in Practice Teaching.
- Education: BSc in Social Work, Certificate of Qualification in Social Work, MA in Safeguarding, Risk and Relational Practice in Social Work and Integrated Care (Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust)
Her teaching interests focus on anti-racist social work practice, social work theory and practice integration, readiness for professional practice, lifespan development, and practice education. She serves as the Course Lead for the Step Up To Social Work PG Diploma program.
