Pat Geier is an Instructor of Weed Science at the Southwest Research-Extension Center, Kansas State University. He has held roles including Research Associate (1994–1999), Assistant Weed Scientist at KSU Hays (1999–2014), and Assistant Weed Scientist at KSU Garden City (2014–2024), before transitioning to his current position in 2024. His work focuses on herbicide efficacy trials in crops like corn, sorghum, and wheat, evaluating herbicide-resistant crops, and combating herbicide-resistant weeds through best management practices.
