Pascale Perraudin is an Associate Professor of French at Saint Louis University's College of Arts and Sciences. Her research focuses on postcolonial literatures, decolonization, and the intergenerational transmission of memory, particularly regarding the French-Algerian War. She holds a Ph.D. and M.A. from Boston College and a B.A. from the Université de Bourgogne in France.
Her work explores memory curation through literary and visual mediums, including analyses of family archives and intermedial narratives. Key projects include Family Secrets: Contemporary French-Algerian Fiction and the Struggle for Memory and collaborative edited volumes on curation and postcolonial violence.
Recent lectures include discussions on colonial legacies, memory curation, and transnational narratives at institutions like Georgetown University and the University of Guelma. She has been recognized for innovative teaching and faculty development initiatives.
Perraudin serves on the Board of the Alliance Française de Saint Louis and volunteers with the International Institute. Her research bridges literary analysis with cultural studies, emphasizing decolonial methodologies and the politics of memory.
