Pascale Levet

Pascale Levet is an Associate Professor in Human Resources Management at iaelyon School of Management, Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3, where she has been teaching and conducting research since September 2016. She is affiliated with the Magellan Laboratory and is a member of the Human Resources research group. She holds authorization to direct research (HDR) and has a strong interdisciplinary profile bridging academia and practice.

Her research focuses on human resources, organizational management, corporate social responsibility (CSR), social performance in medium-sized enterprises, health and quality of life at work, inclusive HR management, and the intersection of chronic illness—particularly cancer—with employment. She explores how organizations can innovate to support employees with health challenges and how management practices in cultural sectors can evolve beyond traditional models.

Her recent publications and conference leadership reflect a strong trend toward interdisciplinary research on work, health, and organizational ethics. She has led major initiatives such as the international conference "Cancer, Work & Employment" and co-authored influential works like "En finir avec les idées fausses sur le management dans la culture," addressing misconceptions in cultural management. Her work emphasizes inclusive, human-centered organizational models and sustainable innovation.

Pascale Levet has held significant leadership roles in research and policy: she co-founded and directs Le Nouvel Institut, a general interest association for open innovation on complex societal problems. She chairs the Scientific Committee of the Fondation Travailler Autrement and the Studies and Research Commission of the Working Conditions Advisory Council. She is also a member of the Scientific Councils of the Observatoire des Cadres and the Community of Mission-Driven Enterprises.

Her advisory and grant-related work involves partnerships with national institutions such as the French National Cancer Institute, Afdas, the National Music Center, and Le Nouvel Obs. She has led research projects through Anact and continues to influence public and private sector practices through her scholarly and institutional engagements.
