Partha Narayan Mishra

Dr. Partha Narayan Mishra is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Civil Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, with adjunct lecturing roles at The University of Queensland (UQ) and UCSI University. He earned his Ph.D. (2020) and M.Tech (2015) from UQ and NIT Rourkela respectively, achieving dual degrees with top ranks.

• Research focuses on geotechnical engineering with specializations in soft soil improvement, unsaturated soil behavior, biomediated geoenvironmental engineering, and electromagnetic soil characterization.
• His work has produced 30+ publications in journals like Acta Geotechnica and Measurement, with recent studies on ventilated well dewatering, salinity effects in clays, and dielectric probes for soil analysis.
