Parsa Parvizi is a Doctoral Researcher at the University of Oulu, affiliated with the Faculty of Technology and the Department of Water, Energy and Environmental Engineering. His research focuses on ecohydrological processes in sub-arctic regions, particularly analyzing stream temperature fluctuations and carbon cycling within the Lompolojängänoja (Pallas) catchment in Northern Finland. This work aims to advance sustainable water resource management in boreal ecosystems under climate change.
- Collaboration: Natural Resources Institute Finland (LUKE)
- Research Groups: Hydrology and Water Quality
Research Interests: Combines hydrology, ecology, and climate science to study catchment-scale processes, including catchment modeling, carbon cycling, hydraulic flows, and hydrological processing. His work addresses impacts of climate change on northern environments and water systems.
