Parham Pezeshk

Parham Pezeshk, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiology at UT Southwestern Medical Center, specializing in Musculoskeletal Radiology. He completed his medical degree at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences in Tehran, followed by advanced training in Endocrinology at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and Radiology Informatics at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He furthered his expertise through a Radiology residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, a Neuroradiology fellowship at the University of Minnesota Medical Center, and a Musculoskeletal Radiology fellowship at the VA Long Beach Healthcare System.

His research focuses on musculoskeletal imaging innovations, including AI-driven radiographic measurements, MRI advancements for osteomyelitis and neuropathy diagnosis, and the development of reporting systems like MSKI-RADS and NS-RADS. He has published extensively on spinal imaging, musculoskeletal tumors, and imaging techniques for inflammatory arthritis.

Dr. Pezeshk serves on the MSK Fellowship Program Evaluation Committee and the Radiology User Group at Parkland Hospital. He is an active member of professional organizations including the Radiological Society of North America and the Iran Medical Council.

His work emphasizes improving diagnostic accuracy through technology integration and imaging standardization, with a focus on clinical utility and patient outcomes in musculoskeletal conditions.
