معرفی
Paolo Frasca is a CNRS Researcher at GIPSA-lab, part of Grenoble INP in France, leading the DANCE team focused on Dynamics and Control of Networks. He holds a PhD in Mathematics for Engineering from Politecnico di Torino (2009). His research integrates control theory, network science, and cyber-physical systems, with applications to social dynamics, transportation networks, and robotic coordination.
Key Contributions:
- Developed models for opinion dynamics and network controllability.
- Advanced algorithms for coverage control in robotic networks.
- Explored hybrid and non-smooth systems dynamics.
- Contributed to epidemic modeling and mitigation strategies during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Awards:
- 2025: Promoted to Chargé de Recherche Hors Classe (CNRS).
- 2013: Best Paper Prize, SIAM Journal on Control and Optimization.
- Recipient of ANR HANDY project (2018) and CNRS 80|PRIME funding (2019).
Collaborations: Works with institutions like INRIA, University of Twente, and MIT on interdisciplinary projects like the DOOM initiative studying online media dynamics.
