Dr. Paolo Chiocchetti is a Lecturer and Researcher in British Politics at the Humboldt University of Berlin's Centre for British Studies. He holds a PhD in European Studies from King’s College London and has held postdoctoral positions across multiple institutions. His research focuses on British and Western European politics, European integration, radical left parties, and democratic theory. He teaches courses such as 'Constitutional Law and Political System' and 'Political Attitudes and Voting after Brexit'.
Education: M.A. International Relations (University of Bologna), PhD in European Studies (King’s College London). Academic positions include roles at the University of Luxembourg, Free University of Bozen/Bolzano, and European University Institute. Awards include Fellowships from the Centre for British Studies and the Robert Schuman Institute.
Research highlights include monographs on radical left parties and edited volumes on European competitiveness.
