Paola Perazzolo is an Associate Professor in the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures at the University of Verona, specializing in French Literature (academic sector FRAN-01/A). Her research focuses on 18th century French literature, particularly the 'Tournant des Lumières' period, with specific expertise in Isabelle de Charrière, Literature and Theatre during the French Revolution, and contemporary Quebec literature.

Professor Perazzolo actively serves on multiple departmental committees including the Department Council (Consiglio del Dipartimento), Internationalisation Committee, Communication and Community Engagement Committee, and Teaching Committee for Foreign Languages and Literatures. She also participates in PhD program governance as a member of the Faculty Board of PhD in Foreign Literatures and Languages and the Teaching Committee for the PhD in Modern Languages, Literatures and Cultures.
Her teaching responsibilities for the 2025/2026 academic year include French Literature 2 for Bachelor's degrees in Languages and Literatures for Publishing and Digital Media and Foreign Languages and Literatures, as well as French Literature - Master 2 for the Master's degree in Languages, Literatures and Digital Culture.
