Paola Palmero

Paola Palmero is a Full Professor at the Department of Applied Science and Technology (DISAT) of Politecnico di Torino. She holds academic roles in teaching courses on 'Science and Technology of Materials' and 'Sustainability of processes and products in materials for architecture', with international collaborations and leadership in research networks.

• Research Interests: Focus on ceramic materials for biomedical, structural, and environmental applications; 3D printing via stereolithography and robocasting; CO2 capture through mineralization in building materials; development of geopolymers and alkaline-activated binders; porous ceramics for scaffolds and catalysis.
