Jean Marc Christian Tulliani

Jean Marc Christian Tulliani is a Full Professor in Materials Science and Technology at the Politecnico di Torino, affiliated with the Department of Applied Science and Technology (DISAT) and the Interdepartmental Center SISCON for infrastructure safety. His career spans over two decades, starting as a post-doc at the University of Limoges (1998-1999), transitioning to a research assistant (1999), tenured researcher (2002), Associate Professor (2006), and Full Professor (since 2006).

• Education: Graduated in Materials Engineering (1992) from Ecole Supérieure de l'Energie et des Matériaux, France; Ph.D. in Materials Engineering (1997) from Politecnico di Torino.

Research interests focus on ceramic materials for environmental sensing (gas/humidity sensors), self-healing concrete, porous ceramics for filtration and biomedical applications, and geopolymer composites. He explores material durability across construction, industrial, and cultural heritage contexts.
