Panos Hadjicostas

Panos (Panayiotis) Hadjicostas is a Clinical Professor at the University of Nicosia Medical School. He holds an MD from Semmelweis University, PhD from the University of Athens, Dr. Med from Heidelberg University, and a CCST in Orthopaedics from Athens University.

Clinical Experience: Completed residencies in the 1st Orthopaedic Clinic of Athens University, followed by fellowships in Knee/Foot Surgery (Atos Clinic, Heidelberg) and Hip/Knee Reconstruction (Schwarwald-Baar Clinic, Villingen-Schwenningen). Conducted research on anterior cruciate ligament, tendon grafts, and computer navigation techniques during his time in Germany (2003–2007).

Research Focus: Sports medicine, ACL reconstruction, trauma management, joint reconstruction, and advanced surgical navigation technologies.
