Panagiotis Galanos

Panagiotis Galanos is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, University of Southern Denmark, specializing in translational biology. His research focuses on molecular mechanisms underlying cellular homeostasis, oncogene-induced senescence, and DNA repair pathways.

Recent research highlights include studies on ribosomal DNA hyper-recombination and autophagy-mediated ribosome regulation. His work intersects biochemistry, genetics, and cancer biology through investigations of RAD51 accumulation, replication stress, and senescence escape mechanisms.
