Panagiotis (Takis) Alexopoulos

Panagiotis (Takis) Alexopoulos serves as Professor in the Department of Sports Organization and Management at the University of Peloponnese, directing the iSportManagement Lab and previously serving as Dean of the School of Human Movement and Quality of Life (2018-2021). With 36 years of teaching experience across all education levels, he progressed from Lecturer (2008) to full Professor (2021) at the institution.

He earned his undergraduate degree from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (1985) followed by doctoral studies in England and Romania, completing his doctorate in 1999. Professor Alexopoulos' research centers on Sports Management, Sports Betting regulation, and Service Management within athletic contexts.
