Dimitropoulos Panagiotis

Panagiotis E. Dimitropoulos, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in Accounting at the Department of Accounting and Finance of the University of Peloponnese in Kalamata. His academic career focuses on financial and management accounting with significant contributions to the field of financial management.

His research interests include:

• Financial Accounting
• Management Accounting and Management
• Analysis of financial statements
• Effects of accounting information on capital markets
• Confidentiality regulations

Dr. Dimitropoulos has published extensively in top academic journals including European Sport Management Quarterly, British Accounting Review, R&D Management, Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization, and Corporate Governance: An International Review. He is the author of three books and has presented numerous studies at international conferences. His work has contributed significantly to understanding the relationship between accounting information and capital market operations.

He is actively engaged in teaching and research at the University of Peloponnese, where he maintains regular office hours for student consultation both in person and via Webex.
