Pamela Tisot

Dr. Pamela Tisot is an Assistant Professor and Director of Predoctoral Clinical Operations at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. She holds a DMD from the University of Pennsylvania (2000) and a BS in Biology from the University of South Carolina (1996). Before joining Pitt, she served in the U.S. Public Health Service Indian Health Service and practiced privately.

Her roles include Vice-Chair of the Restorative Department and co-course director for pre-doctoral courses in Diagnosis/Treatment Planning, Cariology Management, and ADEX reviews. She also oversees Pitt Dental Medicine's CDCA/WREB/CITA licensure exam coordination and participates in multiple institutional committees, including CODA accreditation, Dean’s Council, and admissions. Dr. Tisot advises the ASDA and Women Dentistry student clubs and chairs the Instrument and Materials Selection Committee.

Her professional contributions span clinical instruction, educational administration, and dental policy through her extensive committee involvement.
