Pamela M. Buckle is a Professor in the Management Department at Adelphi University’s Robert B. Willumstad School of Business. Her academic credentials include a Ph.D. and MBA from the University of Calgary, an MA in Psychological Studies from Adelphi University, and a BA (Honors) from the University of Waterloo. She is a licensed psychoanalyst in New York State and holds professional certifications in psychological assessment tools.

Dr. Buckle’s research focuses on systems thinking, unconscious processes in organizations, and psychoanalytic theory applied to workplace dynamics. Her work explores how systemic patterns influence organizational behavior, resilience, and sustainability. She has co-edited seminal books on systems research and developed frameworks for systems maturity and boundary analysis.
Her recent publications examine intersections between psychoanalytic theory and systems science, including the Anthropocene as a symbolic construct through Jungian analysis. She has presented widely at systems science conferences globally, addressing topics like systems guilt, agency, and transformative governance.
