Pamela Luedtke serves as an Associate Lecturer at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point within the Dance program, where she instructs Ballet and Modern dance techniques and co-directs the Pilates Mat Certification Program. Her professional dance career spanned nine years as a soloist with the Mary Anthony Dance company, during which she collaborated with legendary choreographers including Anna Sokolow, Bertram Ross, and Agnes de Mille. In New York City, she taught at prestigious institutions such as the Mary Anthony Dance Studio and Dance Theater Workshop before transitioning to her current academic role in Wisconsin.
Her scholarly interests center on Neuromuscular Patterning and Retraining for Dancers, complemented by her certifications as a National Pilates Teacher (NCPT) and Brain Gym© Instructor. These qualifications enable her to bridge dance pedagogy with somatic practices and educational kinesiology, particularly through her work integrating movement into classroom learning environments across Wisconsin since 2005.
