Pamela Hanrahan is a Professor of Commercial Law and Regulation at the UNSW Business School, specializing in corporate law, securities regulation, and financial services law. She holds affiliations with the Centre for Law Markets and Regulation at UNSW and is a Senior Visiting Fellow at the Melbourne Law School. Her work focuses on investment firms' governance and intermediaries' legal responsibilities, with significant contributions to Australian legal texts.
Her research and publications include seminal works such as Managed Investments Law & Practice (CCH) and Funds Management in Australia (LexisNexis). She co-authored major textbooks like Securities and Financial Services Law and Corporate Governance, widely cited in legal scholarship. Her High Court-approved analyses of responsible entities' duties are highly influential.
