Mathew Leighton-Daly is a lawyer and Lecturer in the Discipline of Accounting, Governance and Regulation at the University of Sydney. Previously, he served as a barrister at the NSW Bar and worked at the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) investigating white-collar crimes. He holds advanced legal qualifications including a PhD in taxation law from UNSW (2018).
