Dr. Pamela H Scott is a Senior Lecturer in Molecular Biosciences at the School of Life Sciences, University of Glasgow. Her career spans both research and education, with a focus on pedagogical innovation in bioscience teaching.
Her research interests include:
- E-Learning: Developing digital tools like the Molecular Methods App and Prime It DNA Game.
- Feedback and Assessment: Pioneering audio feedback systems and self-directed learning strategies.
- Bioscience Education: Bridging practical biology with theoretical understanding through active learning.
- RNA Polymerase III Transcription: Early work on signaling pathways in cancer and diabetes.
