Pamela Bramble is an Emerita Associate Professor of Painting in the Department of Art and Art History at the University of Connecticut’s School of Fine Arts. She holds an MFA in Painting from Columbia University and coordinates The ARTS Project at UCONN Torrington. Her work focuses on the interplay between artistic process and content, drawing inspiration from 13th- and 14th-century Italian frescoes (e.g., Giotto di Bondoni, Piero della Francesca) and themes of time, transformation, and creation. Recent research included a grant-funded study of medieval frescoes in Italy.
