Dr Pablo Salas Bravo serves as Deputy Director of the Centre for Environment, Energy and Natural Resource Governance (C-EENRG) and as a Teaching Associate for the MPhil in Environmental Policy at the University of Cambridge's Department of Land Economy. His interdisciplinary expertise bridges economics, electrical engineering, physics, mathematics, and computational sciences.

- MSc in Economics from the University of Hamburg
- Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Chile
Dr Salas specializes in dynamic systems modeling for energy and environmental policy assessment, notably contributing to the power sector component of the E3ME-FTT-GENIE integrated assessment model. His work supports cross-regional policy analysis in Europe, Asia, and the Americas.
He has led research projects such as BRIDGE-TESC and B2I, participated in consortia like FRANTIC and LINKS2015, and contributed to international technology transfer initiatives. Collaborations include Cambridge Enterprise, Cambridge Cleantech, and institutions in Brazil and Chile.
Before his academic career, Dr Salas implemented large-scale engineering projects in Chile, including a wildfire detection system covering 20,000 km² and the radiocommunication system for Santiago's Subway Lines 4/4A.
