Jessica Crow is a PhD Candidate, Centre Researcher at the Cambridge Centre for Environment, Energy and Natural Resource Governance (C-EENRG), and Affiliated Lecturer in the Department of Land Economy at the University of Cambridge. Her research focuses on climate litigation, particularly the legal implications of the duty of care in cases targeting corporations and governments for climate-related harms.
- Education: B.A. Hons. (McGill University), LLB. Hons. (University College London), LLM in Energy & Climate Change Institute (Queen Mary University of London), and executive training at the University of Oxford.
Research Interests: Climate litigation, climate law, ESG, corporate climate liability, state responsibility, public international law, environment/investment nexus, and climate policy. Her work intersects legal frameworks with the practical challenges of the energy transition and decarbonisation.

- Hoffmann Fellowship in Global Climate Governance (World Economic Forum partnership)
- Led in Lexology Index: Arbitration (2024, 2025) as a leading practitioner
Teaching: Co-coordinator and Lecturer for EP07 National, Comparative and European Environmental Law and Policy (23/24), and Supervisions for Paper 15/EP01 International Law, Climate Change and the Environment and Paper 5 Environmental Economics and Law.
Legal Expertise: Qualified lawyer with experience in international arbitration (as arbitrator, counsel), in-house counsel in energy sector EPC companies, and public sector legislative work in the Parliament of Ontario, Canada.
