Dr. Pablo Romero Sanchiz is an Assistant Professor in Psychology at the University of Sussex's School of Psychology. He holds a PhD in Psychology from the University of Málaga and has held academic positions at Dalhousie University (Canada) and the University of Roehampton (UK). His research focuses on anxiety-related disorders, addictions, and the neurobiological mechanisms underlying trauma-related mental health issues. He has been awarded prestigious fellowships such as the Río Hortega Fellowship and has published extensively on cannabis use in trauma-exposed individuals, PTSD, and clinical psychology methodologies.
