P. James Rainey serves as an Adjunct Professor of Elder Law at Baylor University School of Law while maintaining his practice as Founding Attorney of Rainey & Rainey Attorney at Law LP in Waco, Texas. With over 20 years of legal experience, he specializes in protecting the rights of injured, disabled, and elderly clients through comprehensive legal solutions.
His educational background includes a Bachelor of Business Administration magna cum laude from the University of North Dakota and a Juris Doctorate from Baylor University School of Law, where he earned the Hulen D. Wendorf evidence award and Loy Simpkins marital property award.
Rainey's expertise spans Elder Law, Estate Planning, Medicaid Planning, Probate, Guardianship, and Wills and Trusts. He is Board-Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and frequently shares his knowledge through lectures and community presentations.
