Otger Campas Rigau

Dr. Otger Campas Rigau is a Full Professor at the Chair of Tissue Dynamics (PoL) and serves as Director of the Clusters of Excellence PoL: Physics of Life at Technische Universität Dresden (TU Dresden). His research focuses on the biophysical mechanisms governing tissue morphogenesis and cellular mechanics, particularly in developmental biology contexts such as zebrafish axis elongation and nuclear jamming transitions during organogenesis. He employs interdisciplinary approaches combining physics, mechanical engineering, and bioengineering to study mechanical stresses in biological systems.
