Osvaldo Cleger is an Associate Professor of Spanish at Georgia Tech's School of Modern Languages, specializing in digital culture, e-literature, and emerging technologies in Hispanic contexts. He holds a PhD in Hispanic Literature from the University of Arizona (2009), an MA from New Mexico State University (2004), and a BA in History from the University of Havana (1997). His research bridges traditional literary studies with digital humanities, focusing on hypertext theory, video game aesthetics, and Latin American cybercultural studies.
Key research areas include the intersection of technology and narrative, with notable works like *Narrar en la era de las blogoficciones* (2010) analyzing blog-based fiction, and co-edited volumes such as *Redes Hipertextuales en el Aula* (2015). He pioneered the 'Locative Media Learning Initiative,' using mobile app development to enhance language education.
