Osmar Pinto Neto

Osmar Pinto Neto serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Kinesiology within the College of Education, Health and Human Services at California State University San Marcos. With a dual educational background in biomedical engineering and physical education, he brings a unique interdisciplinary perspective to his academic position.

Dr. Pinto Neto's research interests span multiple domains of motor neuroscience and biomechanics, focusing particularly on heart-brain and brain-muscle coherence, the impact of altruistic motivation on motor control, and transcranial direct current stimulation applications for Parkinson's patients and elite athletes. His work also extends to the relationship between solar activity and lightning phenomena.
