Omar Miguel

Omar Miguel is a Researcher at the Centre for Research in Agricultural Genomics (CRAG) on the campus of the Autonomous University of Barcelona, where he leads the Plant Synthetic Biology and Metabolic Engineering Research Group.

His research specializes in the bioengineering of lignocellulosic biomass in maize, employing synthetic biology and metabolic engineering approaches to enhance plant traits for sustainable biomass production.
