Oluwole Jegede, MD, MPH is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Yale School of Medicine and Medical Director of Mobile Crisis Intervention at Connecticut Mental Health Center. His academic roles include affiliation with the Equity Research and Innovation Center (ERIC). He completed an Addiction Psychiatry Fellowship at Yale School of Medicine and holds certifications in Addiction Medicine, Addiction Psychiatry, and General Psychiatry.
Research Interests: Dr. Jegede focuses on addiction medicine, health disparities, and mental health outcomes in marginalized populations. His work examines structural vulnerabilities such as racial inequities and systemic barriers to care. He advocates for policy solutions to improve access to addiction treatment and reduce health disparities.
