Olivier Galangau is a CNRS Research Fellow at the University of Rennes, affiliated with the group of Prof. S. Rigaut. His research focuses on developing smart molecular and supramolecular materials with light- and electro-switchability properties, utilizing photochromic derivatives and organometallic compounds.
- PhD in Chemistry (2011) from École Normale Supérieure de Cachan
- Postdoctoral work at ICMMO (France) and NAIST (Japan) as JSPS fellow
- Appointments: NAIST-CEMES International Collaborative Laboratory (2014), ISCR (2016), and CNRS researcher (2018)
His expertise spans photophysics of photochromic materials, STM applications, and synthesis of Single Molecular Magnets (SMMs). He has collaborated with Dr. P. Yu, Prof. T. Kawai, and Prof. S. Rigaut.
