Olivia Thomas is a Visiting Lecturer in the Department of Anthropology at Texas A&M University, specializing in historical and nautical archaeology. She teaches courses including ANTH 201 (Introduction to Anthropology), ANTH 205 (Peoples & Cultures of the World), ANTH 350 (European Archaeology), and ANTH 415 (Anthropological Writing). Her research focuses on maritime cultural landscapes, historical ecology, and material culture with an emphasis on colonial Americas, the Caribbean, and women's experiences at sea.
