معرفی
Oliver Neely is a Visiting Postdoctoral Research Associate affiliated with the Domingos Group and the Department of Physiology, Anatomy and Genetics (DPAG) at the University of Oxford, where he completed his DPhil. He is associated with Green Templeton College and focuses on the intersection of immunology, neuroscience, and cardiovascular disease.
- Education: BA (Hons), DPhil
His research investigates the role of immune cells, particularly macrophages, in driving sympathetic nervous system dysfunction during hypertension. He also explores broader interactions between the nervous and immune systems in cardiovascular pathologies.
Oliver previously completed a British Heart Foundation-funded DPhil (2017-2021), which identified macrophage-mediated sympathetic neuron hyperactivity in rat hypertension models. He has since returned to clinical studies but maintains active research collaborations within DPAG.
- Scientific Award: British Heart Foundation-funded DPhil
