Oliver Botar

Dr. Oliver Botar is a Professor at the School of Art, University of Manitoba, where he serves as Associate Director, Graduate Programs and Research. Drawing on interdisciplinary training in Urban Geography, Art History, and Urban Planning, his work bridges Biocentrism, Modernism, and Central European Art, with a focus on the Bauhaus movement and its Canadian connections. He is a leading scholar on László Moholy-Nagy and has significantly reshaped understanding of Biomorphic Modernism.
