Olga Shapoval is an Instructor of Economics at Samford University's Brock School of Business, Department of Economics, Finance, and Quantitative Analysis. She joined the faculty in fall 2021 and teaches courses in microeconomic theory, data analytics, and competitive strategy.
- B.A. in Economics from Sonoma State University
- Ph.D. from the University of Nevada, Reno
Her research focuses on policy evaluation in the health and education sectors, particularly analyzing the impact of mandatory programs on clinical hospital outcomes. She also co-owns a data analytics consulting business with her husband.
Olga is actively involved in the Slavic Gospel Association and resides with her husband, two sons (Matthew and Mark), and a dog named Twix.
