Olena Klindukhova

Olena Klindukhova, MD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine's Division of Endocrinology and Molecular Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin. She holds a medical degree from Dnipro State Medical University (Ukraine) and completed residency in Internal Medicine at St. Vincent Hospital (Indianapolis) followed by Endocrinology fellowships at Indiana University and Emory University.

Her research focuses on diabetes management, critical care challenges in metabolic disorders, and clinical applications in endocrinology. Notable work includes studies on hypoglycemia risk factors in hospitalized patients with type 2 diabetes and neuroprotective strategies in addiction medicine.

Publications span interdisciplinary topics between endocrinology and emergency medicine, demonstrating expertise in both clinical practice and translational research. Active contributor to academic medicine since joining MCW in 2024.
