Olena Hankivsky is a Professor in the School of Public Policy at Simon Fraser University and CIHR Gender and Health Research Chair.
Research: Specializes in gender, intersectionality, and health/social policy. Developed intersectional frameworks for analyzing health inequities and policy reform.
Contributions: Edited seminal works on women's health policy and intersectional approaches; advises governments on gender-based analysis in health systems.
Leadership: Established Canada-USA gender and health research networks during Columbia University visiting scholarship.
