Oksana Kavatsyuk

Oksana Kavatsyuk is an Assistant Professor at University College Groningen, part of the University of Groningen. She holds a position in the Department of Mathematics and Natural Sciences and serves as Director of Academic Staff. Her research spans Nuclear Physics, Astroparticle Physics, and Science Education. Kavatsyuk earned her PhD in Nuclear Physics from the National Taras Shevchenko University of Kyiv (2005) and has held postdoctoral positions at GSI (Germany) and KVI-CART (Netherlands), focusing on detector development for particle therapy and neutrino telescopes.
