معرفی
Oknim Jo is a researcher, curator, and historian currently serving as a Visiting Fellow at Bard Graduate Center (Spring 2025) and a PhD candidate at the University of Brighton. She is the founding director of the Curating Society, a transnational research collective based in South Korea and the UK.
Her research focuses on interior design history, transnational design historiography, and postcolonialism. She has held roles such as academic director of the Design History Society of Korea (2023) and assistant curator at the Seoul Biennale of Architecture and Urbanism (2021).
Her current project at Bard Graduate Center explores Korean postwar modernity through archival studies of understudied figures in interior design and furniture industries.
