Octavio Vazquez is an Instructor of Composition at the Eastman School of Music, University of Rochester. He also directs the Composition program at Nazareth University School of Music. His music has been performed globally by renowned artists and ensembles, including the American String Quartet and Silkroad Ensemble’s Cristina Pato. Vazquez holds degrees from Madrid’s Salazar Conservatory (BM), Royal Conservatory of Music (MM), Peabody Conservatory (MM), and the University of Maryland, College Park (DMA).
