Nova Ren Suma

Nova Ren Suma is a #1 New York Times bestselling author and Edgar Award finalist serving as Visiting Professor in the MFA in Writing for Children & Young Adults program at Vermont College of Fine Arts. Her novels explore themes of female rage, community, and survival through magical realism and gothic traditions.

Literary works include Wake the Wild Creatures (2025), A Room Away from the Wolves (Edgar finalist), The Walls Around Us (#1 NYT bestseller), and Imaginary Girls. She co-edited FORESHADOW: Stories to Celebrate the Magic of Reading & Writing YA.
