Dr. Noureddine Harid is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Khalifa University's College of Engineering since August 2013. He specializes in power systems and high-voltage engineering, with expertise in grounding systems, insulation design, and power system transients.

Research Interests: High-voltage insulation and nanodielectrics, condition monitoring and diagnostics, grounding systems, power system transients, overvoltage protection, and pulsed power applications. Current projects include non-invasive partial discharge sensors and insulation enhancement using nanomaterials.
Laboratory Leadership: Established the High-Voltage Research Laboratory (HVDM) at Khalifa University in 2016 and serves as Principal Investigator for over 30 research projects.
