Dr. Marek Olesz is a Professor at the Department of Electrical Power Engineering, Faculty of Electrical and Automation Engineering, Gdańsk University of Technology. His research encompasses high-voltage engineering, insulation diagnostics, partial discharges, and electromagnetic compatibility. He holds leadership roles in organizations including the Polish Society of Theoretical and Applied Electrical Engineering (Chairman) and the Polish Committee for Lightning Protection (Vice-Chairman).
