معرفی
Nouran Shash is a Researcher in the Department of History at the European University Institute (EUI), where she is part of the 2017 cohort. Her academic work is situated within intellectual and transnational history, focusing on the evolution of political thought in Britain during the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
Her research interests center on intellectual history, particularly the international dimensions of British liberal thought. She explores the ideas of the Fabians and 'New Liberals,' examining how reformist ideologies engaged with global issues between 1889 and 1929. This work situates her within broader discussions on transnational political thought, expert authority, and the development of liberal internationalism.
Nouran is affiliated with the research project Expert Knowledge and Authority in Transformative Times, which investigates how intellectual elites shape political discourse during periods of upheaval. While no publications or awards are currently listed, her involvement in this thematic cluster highlights her engagement with critical questions about knowledge, power, and governance in historical context.
